Kami + Swizzy are the new Battle Royale.Featuring Fortnite champions!

Twelve matches, 20 elite duos and no room for mistakes. The Battle Royale.Featuring Fortnite tournament was a real thriller – with a final face-off that went right down to the wire.

After two days of non-stop action at the Games of the Future Abu Dhabi 2025 powered by ADNOC, Kami + Swizzy lifted the winners’ trophy after holding their nerve in one of the closest finals ever seen at GOTF 2025. ZYRO + RAPID were close behind in second, while Hero + Adapter claimed a hard-earned third place.

Here’s how it all played out.

The opening six matches were held in the ADNEC Centre, Abu Dhabi — and right from the drop, Kami + Swizzy made their intentions clear. Two Victory Royales and a huge 80-point haul – including 34 elimination points – put them firmly on top of the leaderboard.

Hot on their heels were Darm + Qlnek, also grabbing two Victory Royales, although Fortnite icons, Queasy + MrSavage struggled to find momentum, ending the day in 17th place with just 18 points, leaving them with a mountain to climb on day two.

With everything on the line, the second day brought instant intensity. Could Kami + Swizzy hold their lead, or would the chasing pack catch them up?

Match 7 saw Adapter + Hero make a statement, taking down the leaders on their way to a Victory Royale and jumping into second overall.

From there, the momentum kept swinging. In Match 8, ZYRO + RAPID grabbed the win in the final moments, climbing up the standings and putting serious pressure on first place.

Then came Match 9, one of the wildest moments of the tournament. Kami and Swizzy were set up perfectly – until THREATS + KEN BEANS detonated a massive play, wiping out 11 duos in one move. The leaders were ranked just 7th in that match, and their once-comfortable lead shrank to just 19 points with three games left.

With no room to play safe, Match 10 turned aggressive early. Eliminations were the priority, and once again it came down to ZYRO + RAPID versus Kami + Swizzy, with the challengers winning out.

In the penultimate match, the leaders exited early, opening the door for Adapter + Hero to grab another Victory Royale and shake up the standings one last time.

Heading into Match 12, only 9 points separated the top two duos. The tension was unreal. The early eliminations of the teams sitting just behind the leaders gave everyone some breathing space – but the pressure was still on.

Adapter + Hero played fearlessly, securing their second Victory Royale of the tournament. It was enough to lock them into second place overall in the match, but not quite enough to dethrone Kami + Swizzy, who officially became the Battle Royale.Featuring Fortnite champions at GOTF 2025.

Reflecting on their win, Swizzy said: “We felt confident. We believed we could win and stayed focused the whole time. We trusted our preparation and came ready to execute.”

“It was definitely close,” said Adapter + Hero of their third-place finish. “We made a few small mistakes, but we kept pushing and gave everything until the very end.”
