How It Works

Game details

Matches are played on PC in Fortnite Reload: Zero Build, in a duo format. The Reload Mode: Zero Build allows a more action during the match, it creates more chances for dramatic finish. In this mode, participants do not have the opportunity to build fortifications and structures.

All players start in a "flying bus" and choose their landing spot on the map. After teams landing the map, they start to find the equipment.

The storm zone forces teams to encounter and fight by gradually shrinking toward the center. Staying outside the zone reduces a player’s health. As the match progresses, there is less space to escape or hide.
If player dies in the game, they can reload as long as their teammate is alive. However, each time the player reloads, they lose all their loot and are forced to collect new ones. Near the end of the match, the option to reload will no longer be available.

The average match duration is 15-20 minutes.

Teams

Each team includes two athletes. Famous streamers and professional esports players are among the participants of the competition.

Competition Format

20 teams (each with 2 athletes) compete together across a series of matches, called a Session. Game mode: Fortnite Reload Zero Build. The Session is held over two days, with teams playing six matches each day with a break after the third match on each day. Teams earn points based on their placement in each match and for every elimination they achieve.

Elimination means an occurrence where one player entirely depletes the HP and Shield (if any) of another player. Elimination credit is determined by:

  • the action feed located at the bottom left corner of the gameplay screen
  • the UI illustrating the total number of eliminations earned during a single Match.

However, elimination credit shall not be awarded to a player for any portion of a Match following such player’s elimination.

Victory Royale awards the highest placement points. However, teams can also score well through high placements and eliminations. This approach is designed to create an exciting viewing experience, combining fast-action moments with smart, strategic play.
