Phygital Shooter. CS 2

Introducing Phygital Shooter.СS 2
Phygital Shooter.СS 2 is a dynamic hybrid discipline that merges top-level esports with real-world tactical competition. This discipline brings digital and physical combat together into one continuous, thrilling competitive format - creating a new type of shooter experience for fans of both esports and live-action tactical sports.
How It Works
Clubs
Each club has at least 5, and no more than 7, athletes - with exactly five competing in each stage.
Competition Format
The Phygital Shooter tournament brings together 8 clubs, each competing across both digital and physical arenas. The tournament begins with a Round Robin Group Stage, where teams compete against each other in two groups of four by a draw.
In group stage:
In every group stage match, clubs can earn between 0 and 3 points. Clubs earn 1 point per CS2 map win and 1 point for winning the Physical Stage, with standings determined by total points. The match winner is determined by the club that accumulates a total of 2 or 3 points throughout both stages.
The top two clubs from each group will advance to the next stage of the competition (playoff).
In playoff stage:
In every match, clubs played 2 maps in CS2. If one of the clubs secures two victories in games (maps) by the end of the Digital stage, they will be declared the winner of the match with a score of 2:0 without needing to go play at the Physical stage.
In the event of a 1:1 tie at the end of the Digital stage, the match proceeds to the Physical stage for further determination.
If a Physical stage occurs, the club that emerges victorious in the Physical stage with a final score of 2:1 is declared the winner of the match.
Digital Stage: The Digital Stage takes place in a tactical first-person shooter game, with clubs playing in 5-on-5 format, across two maps. Clubs narrow the map pool through alternating bans until two maps remain. A knife round before the first round of each map determines which club is the starting side.
Each map is played to 13 round wins, with each round lasting 1 minute and 55 seconds. After 12 rounds teams swap sides. Substitutions between each map is not allowed. In the case of a 12–12 tie, the result is decided by the clubs going to ‘overtime’ in a ‘best-of-6’ mode, with the team that wins 4 rounds securing the victory. After the 3rd overtime round, the clubs swap sides.
The break between games on the Digital stage is 10 minutes.
Physical Stage: The Physical Stage is a laser tag competition in a ‘Digital Flame Activation’ format. Matches are held in a 5-on-5 format, with the winner of the match being the first club to win 6 rounds. The team that played on offense in the last round at the Digital match stage, start plays on defence at the Physical stage. After 5 rounds, clubs swap sides. Each round last three minutes and extends automatically if the Digital Flame is activated in the final 40 seconds of the initial three minutes of the round, until the timer reaches zero.
