How It Works
Clubs
Each club has up to 6 athletes (five athletes for each match, with the sixth athlete available as a substitute between matches).
Competition Format
16 Clubs participate in the Competition are divided into four groups of 4 teams, where matches are played in the “GSL without a 5th Match” format. The groups are decided by a draw.
After the first two matches of each group stage, clubs ranked first in each group advance directly to the quarterfinals. Clubs ranked second and third in each group play a third match against other clubs who ranked second and third. Winners of those matches progress to the quarterfinals, and the tournament continues through the semifinals, a match for third place, and the final. All matches are played in a best-of-three format, except for the final, which is played in a best-of-five.
Each match is played in a 5v5 format. Lineups must be confirmed before the match, and substitutions are only allowed between matches unless specific exceptional circumstances are approved by the Organizer. During the game, coaches may only communicate with the club during the drafting phase (the stage of choose heroes). The Competition format is LAN.
