How It Works

Teams

Each team has at least 2 athletes, and up to 5 athletes. Players of all ages and genders can take part.

Competition Format

There are 16 teams participating in the competition, which is a series of single elimination matches – for which, the organizers decide the pairings and tournament schedule.

Following the initial round of matches, the competition proceeds with quarterfinals, semifinals match, match for the 3rd place and a final. There are also additional matches from the losers of 1st round to confirm the placings of 9th to 16th.

The teams to win the matches for 9-12 places take 9-12 places, the teams that suffered defeat take 13-16 places.

Each match involves a single contest between each team’s robots and lasts for three minutes. The match concludes when either the designated match time expires or one of the participating robots loses its ability to move.

The winner of each match is determined by the team who has the highest score at the end of the match or the team whose robot is still fully functioning, while the other team’s robot is damaged or flipped over (rendering it immobile).

Scoring is based on referees evaluating the match participants based on three indicators: Damage, Aggression, Control.
